I forgot to mention that we played a lot of different games with our jack knives. Trying to stick the knife in the ground near a another person's foot; the closest throw would win Ray, a couple friends (brothers) and I were doing this once WAY back in the late mid 60's and they were using an old bayonet. Well ONE brother threw the bayonet completely through the other brothers foot and pegged him to the ground. It wasn't easy to get it out of the ground and his foot. Nothing was broken and he eventually healed up. We didn't play this again. Mumbly Peg I think it was called.

Yeah, I don't think my friends and I missed much by not having the internet, facebook, and the xbox. We kept busy and still had a lot of fun without them.
