Yes, I'd heard that too, which is why I bring it up. Jerry's specially heat-treated CPM 154 (Mud Puppy, Hairy Carry, etc) outperforms all others in the same steel. I wonder what it could do to some "super steel" like 3V.

Politicians are just like a BM. They may be necessary but you don't want them running your life. And if you are wondering how this relates to a knife thread, well they both produce enough gas that you can sometimes cut it with a knife.  I live in Illinois, that knife better be a 1311. You might need something more like a MOAB, or even a broadsword to cut through the gas and "other matter" in Illinois! (I used to live there, until I escaped to Missouri;))

Not sure what good the hook is - like an elf choil...on the top. Really, if I was getting in a knife fight...I'd get a sword.

Those hooks get alot of use as a bottle opener. Invaluable.
