No kidding! Many years ago, at a resort where some of my family was staying, my niece was playing near a yellowjacket nest by some driftwood. As soon as I saw that I ran and scooped her up and kept running to the cabin. However, one yellowjacket got under my shirt and stung me seven times before I could remove my shirt and kill the little beast!

I am glad you survived.

Some time over a beer or two I'll share the story about hitting a similar nest with a small tractor and a bush hog and where they stung me.

When I was a kid, my friend and I were playing on the ddriveway while my dad worked in the garage on his car. Next thing I know he's running out screaming tearing his pants off. My buddy and I didn't know what else to do so we did what any normal kids would do and bust out laughing. When your dad is disrobing and screaming like a lunatic, laughter is less likely to get you beat up later on the playground. Turns out a wasp had flown up his drawers and was repeatedly stinging his male pride. Wasn't funny at all to him
