Heres to a speedy recovery! You really should get it looked at ASAP as none of us are doctors. It could be something you didn't even think of, speaking of which you don't think it's dislocated do you?

I know that feeling and look all too well  It's definitely an RC injury and I'm pretty sure it's a tear although I keep praying for a strain. I already have tendonitis in the RC tendons and arthritis/narrowing throughout the shoulder. Combine that with the sudden trauma and loose joints and it's a recipe for nothing good...

Well, you seem to have experienced plenty of RC problems before so I'm sure you know what it feels like by now.....  If you can't lift you arm over shoulder level, there's a good chance it is torn. If that's the case doesn't that mean surgery followed by lengthy physical therapy?

I am feeling positive about it. Even if it hurts like hades, it may not need surgery. Most rotator cuff injuries don't. I wonder if you might have subluxed it (meaning not quite dislocated), which may hurt a lot and annoy you for weeks, but will heal on its own.

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. My joints sublux on a regular basis, usually without too much pain Thanks for the encouragement. I'm hopeful rest and time will prevail but will wait for an exam before I get too discouraged
