Just wanted to throw that out there.
I'd love to post "just got my bowie", but, for now, can just type 'bowie'.

There's some other company selling a bowie-style blade with INFI. Buy it. Buy it now. Do it. I did; GravelFace did (more than once, it seems); you should. If you ever read books on harmonious, romantic relationships ("Men Are From Ohio, Women Are From Venus"), you'll see buying a Fusion Battle Mistress ranks up there with listening and being thoughtful.

But that's what this thread is about. Buy the Fusion Battle Mistress on your own time. We're here to clamor for a Bowie made with SR-77.

Bowie! On the general principle the INFI mudder follows it...

It only makes sense that the Mudder would follow the Bowie; after all, the Bowie is the KING of knives!!!

Bowie! On the general principle the INFI mudder follows it...

When the bowie comes out and crosses the pond to your home, you may change your mind. An SR-77 Bowie with a 10.5" blade inspires an association with a young Winston Churchill fighting fierce battles to eradicate slavery in what was once the British Sudan. An INFI mudder, in comparison, inspires images of Hugh Grant's manchild character in "About a Boy." Since I liked that movie and like small knives, I still want an INFI mudder, but, still....

...It's all about the Bowie!

Good poem too, like a good dagger- short and to the point!

Are you a Beastie Boys fan too? Those lyrics sound quite similar to "Putting Shame In Your Game" from Hello Nasty:

I'm the king of Boggle there is none higher
I get 11 points off the word quagmire
Fools can't see me and that's how it is
And that's how I like it cause that's my biz

I guess I feel like a recording artist should actually be able to sing!

Kind of like a knife should be sharp enough to cut easily!

Of course I think that. It's driving me nuts.

Regarding hip-hop and singing:

I'm currently using various resources to teach myself opera (drawing mostly from the Bel Canto/Swedish-Italian school with huge influences from Richard Miller and the International school of singing). David Jones recommended I check out works of Jorma Hynninen and John Charles Thomas to hear what is possible with my voice type (baritone) when properly trained. Dang! Now I'm mangling songs in four languages instead of just English and it's great fun.

It takes a lot away from my enjoyment of substandard singing because human voices are capable of much more than what is heard in pop music. This doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the rapping in hip-hop because it isn't singing. And there are those disco beats and funk rhythms....

So in conclusion, I'm a huge fan of the Flagstad/Bjoerling School of singing and ScrapYard Knife Company's new bowie rules!

Boo-yah to ya!

Good for you!!

I would like to have an idea of how much this Bowie is going to cost. I HOPE they pick MY name for the new Bowie

I listen to Linkin Park on the radio...I have almost all of Metallica's cds. I listen to pretty much everything: rock, rap, classical, country, oldies, reggae, whatever. Mostly I play rock or rap though. Have you heard the Metallica S&M (symphony & metallica) album? I thought it was cool because it combined two types of music that I like that most people wouldn't combine...classical & rock music. I have another track that's a weird combo. A group singing Snoop Dogg's Gin & Juice sang country style to country music.
