Oh, buy only from reputable dealers way too many fakes and possibilities for QC issues to go grey market or unknown peer to peer.

Just picked up a couple of Byrd folders the other day: ![[Linked Image from spyderco.com]](http://www.spyderco.com/pix/products/med/BY07_M.jpg) So far, I'm really impressed. I'm carrying the Cara Cara 2(the top one) right now just to try it out, and I like it so far. My only concern is that it's a little big for my taste, but it's light enough that I don't really notice it in my pocket.

Goodlooking knives. I use a Byrd Meadowlark just about everyday. You might want to look into one. It has a blade that is just under 3 inches. Good value for the money.

I paid $30 for the pair shipped, so I figured it was worth it. I'll check into the Meadowlark for sure. Thanks for the tip.

Man, you guys have some serious folders here! I'm partial to Spyderco myself. This is one I got around Christmas last year. It's a Breeden Rescue, in the center. I love the ergos and it is ridiculously sharp. Definitely a serious slicer. The top knife is a tenacious that we had Cerakoted in red and gold for my dad, who is retired USMC. The bottom is a Matriarch 2 that will probably be sold on the exchange soon to fund my next SYKCO! ![[Linked Image from i1296.photobucket.com]](http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/ag9/Mateo4183F/Shared_zps8ca60eb5.jpg)
