Architect's GET HOME BAG SubmissionThis is the next logical step in the progression toward a "full survival kit".
Architect's GET HOME BAG (24.4 pounds)
This kit sits next to my bed at night (in case something happens on or near my property that forces me outside the house to investigate, etc), rides in my SUV to and from work every day, goes with me on hikes, etc. This is my base-line GET ME HOME bag. It is not intended to be a Bug-Out-Bag.

NOTE 1: On Saturday I carried this bag on a 5.8 mile hike. It took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete the hike on paved State Park trails (very hilly - at one area the incline was 4 to 1). The pack weighs 24.4 pounds with (2) full 32oz Nalgenes.NOTE 2: I also carry a full sized 40SW or 45Acp handgun with (2) spare magazines on my person. However, as with the PSK I feel this will draw attention away from the other gear so I omitted it here.
