We lost a brother last night, it appears he took his own life by a gun shot to the head. I just worked with him last week he was a good officer and guy. He just had a baby 4 months ago bought a house and was engaged. This line of work can really kick a guy in the guts make sure you guys have a support system, I am a firm believer in the fact that it is never that bad. Smoke sent to you and the family he leaves behind

Night yes, but not a day.
Today is when the puppy goes to the Vet for her teeth. The will be pulling probably several of them. Her teeth have been making her sick and hopefully this will fix her up.
But Momma is worried, Penny is 16 years old and Patty is worried how she will handle this. Good luck my friend these dogs become like children to us Yes they do, specially to Patty, what with me working mids all the time. She came through ok, BUT she has one tooth that still will need to come out. They said it would be better to do it later than to keep her out for another 30 minutes or so. They pulled 4 of her teeth, not any big ones though.

I'm so sorry to hear about your co-worker Grease. It is tragic and yup we DO need someone to talk to, no matter how strong we think we are. A lot of Dogs will share things here that I know they wouldn't say to anyone face to face. Somehow the internet makes it a little easier to face our "Faults" and speak about what truly troubles us.

I dont know what to think of it yet there is no official word on what or why but it sucks anyways. I believe the work environment here leads to a lot of issues, they say bureau family in one breath then turn around and treat us like half a step below the inmates. It really gets me fired up because I can see what it can and does to people, we have the inmates working against us then the exec staff joins right in and works against us also. If I wasnt just a Dumb Combat Engineer I would be out of here in an instant.

Sorry I am so slow to respond back Greaser. Yeah I hear you about the "Work Environment". I can't believe that the "Bureaucracy" has Y'all so hogtied in what you can do to protect yourselves, to end the constant abuse you get from the inmates in the system. They couldn't pay me enough to do what you do.

Haha, PLUS I am checking out stuff for the GHB I am working on building. I'm gonna go larger than my 511 push pack.
It actually has most everything I THINK I need, but I want to go larger so I can have some redundancy.

For THIS bag, I am SERIOUSLY thinking about the Maxped Pygmy Falcon II. It's about two and a half times larger than my 511. Plus being a smaller size pack it won't draw all that much attention, folks will just think it is a "Book" bag.
