Just got my new Scrapper 5, made some new pants, and put a very nice convex edge on it. I love how sharp I can get SR101.

Nice! What type of kydex did you make the sheath out of?

It's called Supercam camo. Knifekits had it, I think I like it.

That's nice work! The SS5 is a good blade. Only reason I no longer have mine is I could never find a use for it that the RMD and the War Dog didn't fill. I DO miss that blade though... almost as much as the BWM... frown

Pretty nice what method do you use for the convex edge?

I use a belt sander to set my bevels and thin the edge to what I like. I like to blend away the shoulder a bit. Then I remove the burr with paper wheels.

The War Dog and the RMD are awesome blades, but I got a thing for mudders. Now have a S5, Scrapmuck, Mud Puppy, and 411

Scrapper 5 was a great blade, wish it was Full Flat. The 411 has a higher saber grind and I really like it. I used the 5 to scrape paint off my entire house it preformed like a champ!

Knife and sheath look great. I really like mudders also. Waiting for the the yard to start taking orders again so I can get another 411.

It's kinda hard to tell from the photo, but is that supposed to look like Multicam?
