I think we've had rain every day but 4 since the first of June. I've NEVER seen this much rain in a summer.

So, I think I've convinced myself I WANT a Ruger Blackhawk in .357, stainless with a 6.5 inch barrel, but do I NEED it.....

It's that or a Mossberg 930 ( walnut, not the synthetic)

I think you did give me your rain. It has been raining since last night. The silver lining is that I don't need to water the tomato plants.

jroden both of those are on my "one day" list. i want a walnut 930 with the ribbed barrels to cut down even with the magazine and add hi-viz or rifle sights. i think it would handle both personal defense and hunting. also would look pretty good. i'm also wanting a ruger .357/9mm covertible. i suspect this will be one of those guns they only sell for a few years and the quietly take off the line up. don't know why I want one except they are nice looking guns and look like fun shooters. i would most likely go with a 6" barrel since plinking and hunting are the only times i can see myself shooting something like that.

i would say get the shotgun if you don't already have one.

We are the opposite here the only time it really rained was when I went camping lol
This July was the first month on record where we received no measurable rain for an entire month
