Today's the day for the boy. He has a hearing to find out when he gets his drivers license back.

After that I've got to ride over to the next town over, my mother in law is having surgery this morning on her carotid artery and my wife can't be there. So I'm the designated family member to be there for the docs.

I'm lucky that I've got great in-laws. I love them like my own parents.

I'm gonna find some breakfast and get the speed demon up and ready to go. Have a great day!

Nice and cool last night, threw the windows open and had a great night's sleep. Sunny today, finally got to use my new prescription sunglasses.

Today is going to be a great day. And tomorrow will be even better.

Yeah I know how it goes when you're working. Especially doing it solo. I still don't see how you do it unless your call volume is just that low. There's no way we could do it here.

We most of the time don't have all that much, but it WILL keep one person busy, way to busy at times. But we do what we can. We have what they call a power shift now, come in at 1000 and gets off at 1800. Personally if they are gonna have a shift like that I think it should run from 1400-2200.

There are times where the phone on mids won't ring but maybe 2 or 3 times. Rare, but it does happen. Most of the time If I have a dozen line entries on the log it is a lot.

Of course we do not dispatch for three of the largest towns in the county. All together they have about 11-12K folks all combined.
