Hey guys. Me and my buddy were checking out trail cam in south west Ohio and found this on our trail cam. It was taken on 8-29-2013. We had three pics but the poor guys wife accidentally cropped the photos poorly. Is there any way to uncrop a picture?
This was a cell phone pic of the digital camera screen we use the check the memory card.

I stood in the same spot. We estimate it to be between 5-6 ft long 3ft high and around 50-75 lbs. maybe more. This is a real pic and I need to know how to reverse a crop so we can use the pics off the memory card and not these crappy cell phone pics.

We had one killed by a car last year/year before in CT. From genetic testing and other states tracking, they were able to figure out the one here crossed more than 1/2 the country, went into Canada and back South into NY and ended up here.

They have the largest range of any land animal in America.

We haven't done anything with those pics because his wife accidentally cropped the pics. That's why we need to know if there is some way to reverse the process.
Somebody told me that we can take the erased memory card to a PC shop and they can recover the images. We had three good pics that showed size and stride.

Wow! That's cool. I got no idea how to help. Supposedly the big cats are all extinct here in VA, but a guy I knew owned a camp down in southern VA and they are always prowling around the area. None of the locals think anything of it since the pumas have always been there, but the DEC refuses to recognize their existence. kinda silly.

Nope the ground is to hard. They don't reconize their existence because the. They don't have to set aside land money and people to study them

They are a beautiful creature that I don't want to meet up with. Here in OK they wildlife dept denied we had them until a few were taken alive, hit by cars, and seen by the media. Supposedly a few of the dead one's DNA put them from the Dakota's. That is a far trek south. A theory for why we are seeing more movement of the cats is that the dry weather and land are forcing them to follow herds farther. Now you know why I like to carry a .45 acp with me in the woods. I really want a Glock 20 soon!

Open carry while hunting most game animals in Ohio is a no no.
But with more coyote attacks on the rise I'm starting to question this theory

Thats a very small Mountain Lion. They also have a huge range. A 300+ mile loop is pretty normal throughout the year.

We have a pretty fair amount of them here. Most people don't know it because they don't see them. I always carry a pistol when I bowhunt because of them. (We have two crazy juvenile lions that hang in my area) And wolves. The bears usually leave me alone.

Believe it or not, on the local news last week, a woman snapped a couple pics of a large Bobcat in her yard, on Cape Cod!

My dad. Retired DNR officer said my weight estimate is way off. He said 150lbs is more like it.
