I'm gonna order a box (25 rounds) of Rio Royal #1 buckshot to try through it. Folks have been giving that ammo pretty good reviews. Well at least more positive reviews than negative ones.
It's Spanish ammo and is supposed to be the largest ammo manufacturer in the world.

My one nephew bought a case of 2 1/2, 12 guage slugs for his 590A1 I think there was 200 rounds in the case and I think it worked out to about $0.75 per slug I believe they are fiochi He uses them for practice, but I bet that they would work pretty well for hd

Uh yeah I think they would work just fine!
This ONE box is gonna cost me OVER 30 dollars. The shells are only 14 something for a box of 25 #1 buckshot but the shipping is FIFTEEN DOLLARS!

But I can buy a case/flat of 250 rounds for 135 and the shipping is only 26 and some change. Go figure.

Any way, I'll get it lined out. Now I THINK I have my lustful eyes set on the SA (Semi auto) version of the Shotgun.

I THINK that is legal (922r compliant) to put a +2 magazine extender on the Pump action. At least I haven't read anything that says you can't do it to the pump. But The semi- in order to do it you would need to change out at least ONE overseas part for one made in the USA.

Just made a discovery while cleaning my shotgun. The EJECTOR is a separate piece and it is held into the barrel extension by a roll pin so that it can be replaced if it gets broken or worn to much to work reliably.

Also the front sight, as is the receiver picatinny rail AND the ghost ring sight are all held on by torx headed (star shaped) bolts.
