Just caught your last post! Yeah I think that meat is meat; shouldn't matter where it comes from. Having said that, cat, horse, dog and monkey are a bit too far... Actually it's a cultural thing.

I've no problem with that. I just don't think that I could kill an animal for food, not when there are so many alternatives nowadays; and I don't want to be a hypocrite and expect someone else to kill it for me Well you are to be commended for your convictions. A lot of folks holler to high heaven about folks hunting, but think nothing of going down to the local grocers for some steaks to grill. Absolutely! That really annoys me. I have no problem with hunting. At least the animals live a free life and have a chance to escape. Domesticated animals are reared to be killed!

I knew you were talking about personal preference. And I agree to a VERY large extent. I was just pointing out that it all depends where or in what culture we were brought up in. After all In India (at least to some of them) BEEF is STRICTLY off the menu!
