we have just enough rain to keep me inside. but it reminds me i need to buy some sort of rain gear.

It's a beautiful day here. 70 and sunny.

Gorgeous today here as well.

i think the rain has stopped. my package showed up with a brand new reel that i got for a 1/3 the going price because it was listed wrong on a popular auction site. it only makes sense to go test it out.

got permission to fish a private lake earlier this week. new reel... yup, it's time for me to go fish.

nice lake in the center of a commercial business area. probably the most relaxing place i have found to fish. this place has a walking path, benches and landscaping. can actually fish with nice lures and not worry about loosing them because of the junk on the bottom.

i sort of like getting down in the swamps to fish but sometimes you don't want to constantly have to look over your shoulder for alligators. and the last few times out in the other places I've seen moccasins swimming right under me.

Evening guys! Spent most of the day weeding and getting my garden planters ready for new vegetables. Installed a drip irrigation system for them ( well, most of one, have to finish it up tomorrow, tubing is all cut, just needs to get attached)

Going shooting tomorrow ( trap, skeet, sporting clays) for the first time. Can't wait to try out the new shotgun
