It is to bad you dont enjoy whiskey anymore skunk because it does help a funky throat 90% of the time.

(Not sure if I've recommended this before, but what the heck, it works for me)
Put a teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of warm water, squeeze in half ( or a quarter ) of a lemon, stir and drink.

Done that Jared. I've also been gargling saltwater. Helps for a while. He gave me some Viscus Lidocaine and I took that in Japan when I had acid reflux so bad. He says mix 1 to 2 lidocaine to water and gargle with it and then I can swallow it to deaden all the way down my throat or I can spit it out.

Oh and lots of beer, lots and lots of beer. Nothing else to do on an island that is 2 miles wide and 4 miles long, and over 5 hours WEST of the Alaskan mainland.
