How goes the High Country?

It goes I have been busy. Between that and the new website i haven't been on much.

How are you and yours?

Oh We're doing pretty good. Finally got us a nice 14x24 metal storage shed for the back yard. Maybe now we can actually start using the garage for it's intended purpose!

Talking about your website, how goes the war?

Its going pretty well. We have put things on hold trying to raise some cash for the family of a friend. He was from Klinks neck of the woods.

A fallen Hero?

Yep, a friend was killed in Afganistan. 2 weeks out from coming home to his wife and infant son.

With the government shut down she has had to foot everything. Including the flight to Dover to pick up his remains.

That rests soley on the Secretary of Defense.

This Government shutdown is a total piece of crap! We need to throw the whole lot of them out and start over, see what happens and in 6 months if there's not an improvement throw them out and start again. Eventually "They" will remember they are supposed to be in D.C. for US, not their pocket books.

They can have their "Rally" for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS but not honor their promise to those who gave their lives so the idiots can act like idiots.

I'm not tickled but they really need to stop raising the credit card limit to pay the bills.

The thing that irks me was death benefits were covered with the military pay and the Sec Def shut it down. Much like open air parks to make us suffer.

I think they don't want people to realize how little the Feds really affect peoples daily lives outside of infrastructure.
