Not interested in the MVP. I liked the GSR because I thought it would be a poor mans m1a lol had iron sights and a 10round box mag. And the stocks not near as Weather resistant as advertised. I held a nice imbel FAL with quad rail but it was $1750 used. They had two standard M1As and a socom m1a for $1559 all three new. The SCAR-H was totally bad [censored] but was some serious money. But still cheaper tha. The used H&K91. Beat up and still asking $3750

I bought my metric Imbel with inch improvements, complete for $925. It will need a couple of hundred dollars worth of improvements for my needs. New furniture, shorten barrel, new muzzle device. For me, a complete rifle is the route I recommend taking.

Guess what. The MVP has iron sights, takes AR10 mags, and has a synthetic stock. I wouldn't call it or the GSR a poor man's M1A since they're both bolt guns. Lazi, I can't comment on the DSA since I know nothing about it.

Ok that's completely different than the MVP I've seen. And poor mans because it has some of the features but it's a bolt gun. I'm a big mossberg fan. I have no experience with their rifles But if I buy another rifle it will be a semi auto

Got to hold 2cmmg ar10 rifles an H&K417, Sig716, POF ar10, S&W ar10, and a PTR and m1a. The m1a is nice. But it's outdated tech. PTR... It will run but it isn't a pretty or accurate gun. So FAL or AR10 it will be.

what you gus opinions on the dsa sa58? ..... hit and miss. From new it appears DSA requires you to "break them in" to get 100% function - for the $$s they ask I don't think this is acceptable. They have warranty but there have been issues with the turnaround time on this. I would not write one off but you just need to know you may have some work to be 100% happy. Andy

To pay lots of money for any gun it better be 100% out of the box. Not any less. Now I got a $850 dollar rifle I don't trust and it sucks! Can't afford the gun I want to replace it. So stuck with it till I can.

So my Ruger GSR adventure has been a total disaster. Twice back to the factory. I just don't trust it. I'm interested in looking into the FAL, AR-10, M1A. So what's the latest on this thread? I missed the second return What happened there
