Perhaps sf45acp and others will agree with me that it's better to project a date (two weeks) and then surprise folks with an early announcement (short of two weeks) than to get our hopes up for a date certain (last Monday) and only be disappointed when Santa doesn't come.
However, the fact that we're still here discussing this shows that Dan's absence from this board doesn't mean that he's lost us as customers, just made us frustrated (and desperate).

I'd only be worried about losing potential customers who are to new or do not understand the lingo or meaning behind "2 weeks" or that next Monday may be a Monday in the next millenium.

That almost happened! Took a new med in the AM before a hunt. Within 2.5 hours I had extreme vertigo and had to get down. Thought I was gonna hit the ground a lot faster than I intended
