I didn't see/hear anything about that. BUT I did hear something a while back the the Fed Has a larger portion of the U.S. Debt than China does. I think that's the same time I found out the Fed is NOT part of the Government!

No argument there!  I was watching Fox when I saw the "crawler" about the Fed advising the big banks to keep on hand large amounts of cash and securities in the event of a financial collapse. Now that IS scary; what more are we in for?!!?  I don't know, but I am getting ready to order a magazine extension for my Weatherbys and Weapon lights for them as well.

We're stocked up good on canned goods and water. Our cooking and hot water is gas as is our heat, so hopefully if we have a power outage or "Food fight" we'll be OK. I've got more ammo than I thought I had so I think we would do well with "Interlopers".
