The compact model is probably a good choice.

Hey, IF she needs a shotgun, the Weatherbys (SA and PA 459-TR series) have a 13 1/2 inch length of pull.

I installed a Red-Dot sight on my .45-.70, so I may as well sight that in too!

I am thinking about putting a red dot on one of my Weatherby's but I'm not sure I really want a conventional looking scope (although a lot shorter) on one of those. I have been looking at the reflex style sights. I had decided on one then read a lot of reviews about them not being all that good. (the model I was looking at).
