Back when I was working for my hometown PD my best time from a dead sleep to starting the vehicle was 3 minutes.

Now we have deputies on duty 24/7, but our state patrol is like y'all. They call out the early car if there's an accident after the night car goes in at 0300.

I know the problem myself - before becomming a firefighter I was in the EMT - and we only had 3 min after the alert to push the button in the car

I was a volunteer fireman and EMT back years ago, so I've always been one to be ready to jump and go on a moments notice.
