I would say 2-4 MOA normally, but with tight headspace, good barrel and good ammo 1.5 is achievable.

The FAL is a fighting rifle, not a target rifle.... minute of man all day long, even when drenched in mud, blood, sand and dirt, if you want to punch little groups the AR type rifles are a better proposition. ... wink

I joined the FFiles and did a little reading and I'm more confused than ever. It seems that there were 1,000's of manufacturers and millions of people who put together gigs of parts to make complete units. Is there a road map that explains what potholes to avoid? grin
I guess I really should have bought one when my shop had them for sale for $499 many, many years ago.

Just saw a century L1a1 for $1000 no clue if that's good or bad.
And I Agee. A road map would be nice.

That new Ruger 762 looks good. But, alas, no Man Card with that.

It's nice. Lots of tooling marks ion the bcg though
Also they used roll pins on the top rail of the hand guard.

It depends on what receiver they used. If it's a CAI receiver defiantly not.
Andy did post earlier in the thread what receivers are worthy.

The best, maybe not easiest road map is start hanging out on the FAL files and read read read.

Ok. The finish was pretty rough and the barrel looked aweful thin. But I'm not expert

So if the M1A rifles currently on gun store racks are no longer milspec.
And if there isn't a real milspec AR-10 style rifle.
And there are only parts of milspec FALs floating around.
And the scar is to expensive. The lmt mws(milspec for the Brits DMR rifle)
The h&k 417 and the sr25 are all as much as a used truck.....

What's left on the market for the average guy like us????

As I said in the other thread I like the AR10 but if you have to have milspec go with a PTR91 1200 all day long cheaper if you shop around.

Find an FAL that someone has already gone through the trouble of building, but suddenly needs cash. They do pop up.
