I'm very tempted by the little 311 as the only fixed blade I find myself ever carrying now days is my SwampWarden and as nice as that is a Res C handle would make it even nicer !
I just wish it was thinner stock( 1/8th ) or even a full height grind.
Does anyone who has one have any input, positive or negative ?

Had one and sold it. It didn't feel quite right to me. The handle to blade ratio seemed somewhat off. I much prefer my Swamp Warden with scales.

The only reason I never bought one is the blade thickness.

I'm with Hooplehead, I like a full size handle and the 311 has it.

I love this handle size, and the blade is perfect for EDC. Also, properly sharpened, that little extra blade thickness is not noticed. Could it be thinner? I think so, but then if it was I would prefer Dan's Elmax. I think this thickness is perfect for SR101. It's just a very handy knife.

Pit, have you considered the 340 Elmax? thin, FFG, similar profile, war dog handle.

Personal preference. just didn't sit right with me in that configuration. Wide thick blade on a basic handle. The Rodent Solution felt more natural to me. Everyone is different. That's why there's lots of models.
