Didn't buy anything, but got given a U.S. Army fak with CAT, quik Clot and some other stuff. Also got given a Medics bag with three "Swing out" panels. It's about 15x15 square PLUS I got a "Gym bag" that is about 2 1/2 to 3 ft long!

More as I look at them later today.

As you can see, this thing is stacked! I will put it with the items I already have in my kit and will be pretty well set. I've got some research to do tho on the use of a couple of the items.

The Medic pack is a pack that is about 15x15 inches and close to 6 inches thick. Inside are three panels the size of the pack with mesh pockets. In addition there is a neck pouch with three snap pouches that looks like a chest carry rig for M-16 mags. It also snaps into the pack and is the first item against the back. It also has a 1/4 inch thick foam pad and a stiff plastic "Plate" over that.

I was about to buy a smaller "Day" pack and he said to hold on before I got anything, left and came back with all this stuff!

He got this same "Kit" for each Deputy to carry in their vehicles and had a few left over.

I added an Opinel Garden Knife to my pack.



Same blade length as the #8 but different shape.

The HEST, just looks strange to me.

It did look strange to me also. That's why I never bought one. But I had an opportunity to make a trade for one and I'm glad I did. There is nothing like having the actual knife in hand instead of just looking at pictures. That's why I told SWMBO I have to buy a lot of knives. I don't think she feel for it though.
