Im fussing about it being in the 50's here and I'll bet you guys would love to have that in November. Or am I totally wrong?

Yeah that would work Timo. I have been thinking about the SOL bivy or escape/emergency bivy bags.

I don't know how true it is, but I heard a LONG time ago that if you can keep your wrists and temples warm the rest of you will be as well.

We are now in 35F - 45F daily. Northern Finland is under 32F. It´s strangely warm for November here now...

I've heard that if you run cold water over your wrists it'll cool you off quickly. I guess the opposite applies too.

At least it works in opposite way: if you are hiking and feeling hot sink your hands into a cold water stream and you feel cooling a bit.
