Well that's nice. Just looked outside to see my motorcycle cover sailing down through the front yard. Guess I'm going to go play hide and go seek with it for a while. Ugh.

Because there are no news here, I lost my nerve and ordered a Fällkniven H1 (VG10 model). I have great expectations about that knife. If I´m right it´ll be my #1 bushcrafter and hunting knife, wich makes the War Dog #2... War Dog has features that I´d like to change and after those changes it would look very much like the Fällkniven H1... Timo, the Fallkniven H1 is my #1 hunting knife. I've carried one for years. Mine is the VG10 as well, and I know that you won't be disappointed. Thank you for your comments! You didn´t miss anything, I just thought everyone died!

The only thing to watch on the H1 is the lack of a finger guard. It's easy to slip your fingers in onto the blade.

The only thing to watch on the H1 is the lack of a finger guard. It's easy to slip your fingers in onto the blade. That is not a problem. I just got sms that my knife is in the post office.

I was thinking about the WM1 first, but because I have the Victorinox Hunter XT, I decided to go with the bigger model.

My biggest problem with the Fallknivens was learning how to sharpen them. Once I got that, I love mine.
