fried rice! i haven't had any chinese food in a while.

I like Chinese/Japanese food and some Thai food.

they do a really good job at this one place here. plus the place is an asian grocery store.

i should learn to cook a few simple asian dishes. if i could make fried rice anything close to how the make it at this restaurant I'd probably eat a ton of it.

I prefer lo Mein to fried rice and white rice with my dishes.

low mein is good stuff as well.

i know there's an old wok i can use somewhere. i think rice and low mein are two dishes I really should learn how to prepare right.

I tried fried rice several times, MUSH.

Then I made the rice, broke it up some, spread it out in a 13x9 casserole dish and let it set for a day and a half. Fried up a lot better after it "Dried out" some.

I'm probably the only person around that doesn't eat Chinese food. None of the Asian foods, as a matter of fact.

Don't care for rice, or soy sauce or teriyaki either

yup, getting the rice right can be pretty tricky. i don't remember which brands of rice i was buying but whatever seemed to be selling the most at either the asian or latino speciality isles of the stores is what I buy. i'll buy a 5 or 10 pound bag.
