It's hard to find a comfortable LOP for a shotgun. It seems. And I'm 6'2" average. The best option I've find is a adjustable BlackHawk knoxx Spec ops nrs Seems I like a different lenght for slugs, waterfowl, pheasant. None are perfect for all

Watched an hour and a half of the magpul art of the dynamic shotgun today. All good stuff. Reminders and brush up for the expert and a great start up for beginners

I have spent many rounds (and hours) at the butt of various 870s, my favourite variety had 12-14inch barrels and fixed speed feed butts. I was only party to a conversation with some of my old team mates where we were recalling the day that I was in the front seat of a car with the 870 pointed into the back of the car and explaining to an individual at that the first hiccup I was going to put his head out the back window and onto the road (we were moving at the time).... this is why I like those shorter varieties, much handier in confined spaces...

Prohibited here for private ownership, 18 was the limit here for a privately (mine was 20) owned 870. The 12-14s that I used then (and still occasionally now) are Govt owned.

Yeah I think and SBR shotgun would be fun but I'm not sure what I would use it for. I really like those benelli tactical guns. I'm asking local shops about that or what the cost of an 870 police mag would be. No quotes yet. One showed me a saiga he has on commission for $1100 right now. It's never fired. Has an ATI collapsible M4 type stock, cantilever optic rail with Russian red dot, nice quad rail, mock suppressor/barrel shroud. Pretty neat set up.
