I like the Harley Davidson Street Glide, but I'm hearing a lot about how you have to have them serviced at the dealership for even minor stuff. (oil,brakes,etc.) I don't care for that.

If I had the money, I'd buy the Indian Chieftain. That's my first choice, but it's about $24k.

Really nice bikes though.

Randy, you're right. You CAN buy a really nice car for that. Which is why I'm having such a hard time pulling the trigger.

I don't need a new car or truck, and OGB is getting a new one in the spring. (Hopefully) Once she has hers, I'm getting mine!

What she wants is not that expensive, so it won't change that payment any. And my bike is paid off this spring. The new one won't be any more per month than the old one, just more months.

Sounds like Y'all are using your heads, as far as additional money is concerned, just stretching it out.

BUT we like not having any car, house or Credit Card payments. It's a nice feeling.

I'm just looking at this point. But I'd sure like to have the new bike.

My truck has two more years left on it, and when it's paid for I doubt that I'll get another one anytime soon.

I hear ya. I want another 4x4 (small) of some kind I can almost feel it.
