I've ridden bikes before, but never much on the roads. I'd always go to the greenway or something like that. I was too scared I'd get ran over on the highway.

If I lived in town, they'd be a great way to get around. But living out in the country, just not for me. Not here, anyway.

When I was in Japan, it was just as fast or sometimes faster to get places, as long as we're talking no more than like 5 miles.
