We're doing well...got some Christmas shopping done in the past few days. Looks like we will be spending Christmas with her Mom and family this year. Sherrie is really looking forward to it.

We had a Moderate storm through here a few days ago and Patty and I were cleaning up limbs out of the yard. I used the new BG Compact Parang to cut up the larger limbs into nice foot or so burning size. It worked really well. Nice little blade for $29.00. Plus I'm not worried about using it around rocks and such.

Our friend from church that has Cancer stopped by today. They needed a land line to receive a Fax (They have the machine, but only cell phones at home).
It's not good. He is 6ft tall, and now weighs 130 pounds. He is constantly on pain meds, has $400K worth of bills and NO INSURANCE! They are really nice folks. But the Chemo isn't working and he only has (according to the doctor) a few weeks left. Not even sure if he'll make it to Christmas.
