I plan on conducting a little "preparedness" program while we are at the in-laws. Ages range from the late 70's down to 4 years old, so they should mostly be interested. We're also giving the in-laws a Big Buddy vent-free heater and some bottles of propane; they are in an all-electric house. I think they will really appreciate it!

No, the Big Buddy heater goes up to 18K BTU. We have used ours before, and it worked great!
