I actually like it better than the full size version. Lot easier to carry and more versatile (for smaller stuff anyway) how does it compare to the 1311 in size OK, it is JUST like the full size version but smaller. OAL about 15 1/4 inch Blade tip to handle 9 1/4 Cutting edge on mine 7 1/8

I joined a group trying to get the government to allow wilderness. Carry for pistols as an easy accomplishment instead of a hard task

If your sheath looks like the one in the link than it is not on recall The recalled one didn't have as many rivets

Seems to me that a handgun (of suitable caliber) would be a no brainer considering all the stuff up there that could hurt you.
