5 rounds 45lc would ruin something day Yeah if I was gonna spend the bucks I would either go for 45LC or 357. IF it was a "Critters that would kill you" gun I would get the 45LC and stoke it with the hottest factory loads I could find and shoot safely.

Yeah, a lot of folks don't know you can get(or at least load your own) 45LC to outperform the 44mag.
