I see that the weather is pretty bad in spots in the States. I am still traveling and the weather kept me away from home for Thanksgiving. It looks like I may not be back for Christmas either.
I just may end up completely missing the snow again for another year. No point in waxing the skis, I suppose.

I just talked to EMS and they said we got a total of 8 inches of snow, ON TOP of about a half to 3/4 inch of sleet!
Had to call a deputy to bring me into work tonight, roads are worse than an ice skating rink!

On the way home Friday morning after I got about a mile down the road IF I could have seen to and could have found a place to, I would have turned around and come back to the office and a deputy could have taken me home. But I was stuck trying to make it home, finally made it after about an hour. I only live 15 miles from work.
