Henry uses two lights incase one burns out I hate frozen pipes!!!  At my old house I had to thaw out the pipes while laying on my back, in the mud.  I have to do that every now and then out at the well head. I stick a work light on a drop cord under the plastic and walk away, and in a little while the water will start running again. Before Dad had the Detached garage built they had a pumphouse and every winter dad would put a 100 watt light bulb in there and it kept it from freezing.

I guess you will just have to put up with pretty nurses waiting on you, hand and foot!  I'm gonna do it for you guys My nurse today is a tall blonde with blue eyes, and I'll leave at that. You're gonna give new meaning to the term Nursing Staff.  LMAO but true.

I don't remember it ever freezing up. Course we checked it every day. USUALLY during the day unless it was REALLY cold it wasn't on. Just at night.

I usually just keep it dripping when it gets down in the 20's, and a steady stream if it's below 20. Rarely if ever freezes up as long as the power stays on.

His pump house is about that size but is 20 or 30 feet from the house He is a bachelor and is not home all the time OH, the pump house was only about a 4X4 ft insulated box attached to the house.
