the redfield 2-7x33 was recommended quite a bit for my cz527. 150 yards is about the most i'd be shooting as well.

I've always wanted a 308 semi auto rifle but I don't want to get into keeping a bunch of different calibers around.

For hunting I mostly use
338 winmag
450 marlin
308 winchester
For behind the seat or camping gun
44mag
30/30
For tent gun
12 gauge
450 marlin (same as hunting)
Of course a 22 for plinking
The other calibers I have really don't see much use
