I hope Dan puts up the order soon for the Mud Mutt. I want to plan what to do about my Busse/kin purchases but I have no information. I don't know what I got from the Santaganzaa and I don't have any ordering information from the Scrap Yard. Very frustrating.

My son never had any good luck with those reels that had the button. The line always kept getting snarled. So I bought him a cheap (around $25 at the time) Mitchell spinning reel when he was 8 years old and he learned to use it fairly quickly. He still has it today 11 years later. this is what i was thinking. he's a pretty sharp kid so i think he will get it. just didn't want to task his mom with teaching him. i'm thinking he will most likely end up teaching her.
