So I went outside to use the snow blower, and 10 seconds after I started, I somehow ran over the cord and got it tangled in the rotor. So I cleared only about two feet of the driveway and my wife had to shovel it all. So I have to remove the rotor and untangle the cord. The job should be done by April. June at the latest.

Can't you just pull the cord? It should just unwind or just cut the cord out if removing the rotor is to much of a hassle.

It is jammed in too tightly for me to pull it out. I think if I take off the end cover, I can move the rotor enough to create some room.
