I got a few of the BEC and Target brand optics at ridiculous prices in the past. I just do some plinking with my 22s and ARs so I never wanted to drop big money on optics. I really like their rubber coated scopes, very rugged.

when you only want 2-3 boxes of amo to try out it's hard to pay $8+ in shipping.

I understand but will jump if something catches my eye, I've been fortunate and never been burned.

I understand, I usually get around 500-600 rounds at a time. A couple others for ammo are AIM surplus and Cope's distributing.

i'm still im the habit of buying a box of ammo here or there. i will probably ge ta bunch of 7.62x39 sometime next year. if i get rid of my M&P40 i will probably replace it with 9mm and start getting a bunch of 9 ammo. everything else i most likely will just get box by box.

I like natchez I have bought a few things from them with good luck.
Lazi I really like the price of the 5.45 but in a SHTF scenario I want a 5.56 because there will be more of it available. IMHO

When I see ammo on sale at a decent price I order some usually 45acp. Especially since ammo prices went up, I know they are coming down a little but I still search for a deal. I looking for 5.56 right now and maybe some 9mm.

I have built ARs and used J&T distributing, Model 1 and M&A parts with excellent results, I have factory ARs as well.

i'm going with 7.62x39 for shtf type stuff.
i'm leaning towards keeping my m&p40 and finally getting a 9mm barrel and some 9mm mags for it. if i trade it that leave me without a full size pistol and i'd probably just end up buying something similar later.

Take a look at Witness pistols they are great set ups for a good price.
7.62 is good but it doesn't really agree with the AR platform so it is not an option for me.
