Well, we received the freezing rain/ice as predicted.











No power outages here...so far!

Well, the Cat Asstrophy has been averted, at least so far.

That's not good Tom.

I know!

We got to the stepsons house and his furnace room was flooding and overflowing into the completely finished basement.

He was sucking up water with a shop Vac.

I don't know how many "Buckets" of water we dumped, but it seemed we were not making any headway.

The finished bathroom (In the basement) was on one side of the wall and the other was the furnace room that just had particle board walls.

What was the cause, and final result?

There was a half board (4x4) covering the last section next to the outside wall. I told him we should take that section off and see if we can find out maybe where the water was coming from.

Well Under the bathtub there was about a 2x2 section where they had left a hole, where the plumbing went down into the city's sewage system.

The water was rising out of this hole RAPIDLY!

If you don't stop it at the source the problem will just continue!
