That would do it!

We're not doing to bad. Patty is sore, she set in one position, running the Vac hose back and forth for quite a while. She would fill up the Vac and I would roll it about 30 feet, go out the door and dump it on the ground, and repeat, MANY TIMES!

I couldn't figure out any way it could be a regular water leak, but I checked his meter anyway, had to bail out about 10 gallons of water from the meter hole before I could even see the meter! No leaking pipes.

She said her legs, arms/shoulders and neck were sore. No wonder, she set there (after running up and down the stairs about 30 times for different things) for hours.

At our home in Illinois the clay soil would really hold the water and start to leak into the basement. I added another 25 feet of hose to the sump pump discharge and it took care of the problem.

There was a high clay content to the soil there it seemed like.

We finally got back home at 1730 and I am whupped. I mean I'm doing OK for now, but later.....

I don't figure he will have to do this again for quite some time (once it's over) just one of those weird combinations.

Sounds like you need a nice day of rest!

Oh and did I mention that with all this going on Patty STILL fixed us lunch! She's such a trooper.

She IS a good woman!!!

We had to change our trip to Illinois; moved it back a week. The doctor changed one of the cancer drugs that was making her sick, and with chemo treatments it will be better to go a week later. So, we will be HOME for Christmas.

Bummer, but hopefully it will be better for her in the long run.
