learned what a deer warning call sounds like. i had never heard it before and i didn't figure it out until the next day when i happened across the same buck in the same spot the next day.

I can go till the 31st but its alternative methods. Since I dont have a black powder rifle or a crossbow that means a center fire pistol.

December 15th was our last day of deer season

they allow single shot shotguns and rifles so i'm thinking of getting a .357 single shot so i can hunt until the last day.

this is what i'm thinking i should do.

i'm thinking it allows more deer to be killed is all. a few people don't like it but, ehh... works for me since i don't have any real plans for bp. they just added crossbows to bow season as well. again some people don't agree but i'd do a crossbow.

I just see no difference between a single shot or repeater is all

it's single shot rifles and shotguns calibers .350 and up. that made .35 whelen become pretty popular here.

one thing i'm learning about hunting is that i need more patience. those critters are at home so 15-30 mintues of just sitting being quiet can save their lives. i tend to convince myself i should keep walking if i didn't get an immediate response.
