just got done combing over hunting regulations and zones. looks like i can maybe hunt until feb 15th if i was to get a single shot rifle.

Never wrong with a 45/70 What about 45 colt or 44mag or 35 rem been debating on if i should go with .35 whelen or 45-70...

I love the 45/70 so perfect you can load it way down for deer or crank it up for bigger critters.

would 45/70 be too much for a first time shooter?
while i'm thinking i will get a .357 barrel later on, whatever i get i would like to be able to hand to a family member and sit them in a stand some day. at least that's what i'm thinking...

Before the apocalyptic storm. went to the gas station, and right after I filled up an announcement over the intercom said they were out of gas. People said that they had been to 5 other gas stations who where also out of gas. The grocery stores look like black Friday just hit. Funny watching all the mayhem for a snow prediction. If it does actually hit, stay safe out there.
