That would be a great ride on a bike. I don't have one anymore used to ride zx11D, had a couple of them.

I've got a V-Star 650 at the moment, looking to upgrade soon to a Street Glide or a Victory Cross Country. The 650 is a great learners bike, but I've outgrown it.

Those victorys are cool bikes ! I've thought of getting another possible a BMW sport touring style. But kinda got to limit my hobbies a bit. Between knives, firearms and old cars, I can't handle adding anything :-) lol. Now throw in knife vacations oh boy I'm in trouble lol. Can't wait to experience Blade and meet you and everyone !

Hopefully I get to go, but between the new job and the new grandbaby, I'm not going to be holding my breath about going to Blade this year.

A man's got to have his priorities in order, and the new grandbaby comes first.

A question for you Blade experienced folks- can you get older models there? Even though I've whittled down my fixed blade collection, I can feel an itch for a meaner street/leaner meaner growing. I just don't get what Busse sells at Blade and how they do it.

RN, I'd say there's a good chance you might find what you are looking for at blade. Can't say for sure cause only the crew really knows, but they do bring some oldies along. I believe Knob Creek would likely be a better chance of finding something like this though, but I've been wrong before…..

But how does it work? If I had a proxy, do they amble up and ask one of the Busse guys/gals "Hey, got a combat grade meaner?" and then Yes/no?

There are some models just laying on the counters, while others are offered in "feeding frenzies". We never know what is available until the show opens and the crowd files in.
