Nice new folders guys.
Hows the flipper action MB?
Jared, how's that handle? Saw a you tube video on that knife a couple days ago and looked interesting.

Thanks guys! Pretty happy with this one so far, the previous owner put a small secondary bevel on this one ( that how they ship new now) because the original zero full flat couldn't hold up. It's scary sharp
Rich, the handle is very comfortable, not sure how it will be after some carving/ fuzzy sticks, but I'll see this weekend. I'm liking it so far

The full flat wouldn't hold up? Interesting! Bet it's mean in the kitchen!
It was bigger than I thought in the youtube video I saw.
Gotta love that deep carry clip!

The original grinds a full flat to zero edge, basically one giant bevel, s30v just can't do that. Spyderco needs to be applauded for at least trying something like this though.
It's a nice big handle, a little heavy, but that really adds to the feel in hand. Something like this would be right up your alley I would think

Wow, must be a thing blade. My Ritter Grip is s30v and about has no bevel, but I've had no problem with the edge.
I was looking at a video on youtube on that spydie and I guy damaged it cutting a card board box! (with no bevel)
Let us know how it goes Jared!

RN the flipper isn't bad. Its not really needed witht he lock system. I can open it 4 ways really easy.
I am very impressed by how solid the lock is and there is zero play in the blade. Its very smooth and very well made.
It really reminds me of a cross between a 3 inch Hinderer (same thickness) and a Gerber freeman.

Go big or go home! ![[Linked Image from i432.photobucket.com]](http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq47/richneal68/IMG_5594_zps295b16db.jpg) Been wanting to check out a 710 and I understand the hype on this knife. Seems like a great allrounder and the ergos are very good for me. The blade is a lot narrower than I thought...thing is like a shank! Got the orange Rat b/c...well, it's orange! And I just couldn't resist the SOCOM Delta. I've been loving the minimatrix and this SOCOM just has a sick, sick blade. These microtechs just ooze quality to me.
