"hey Mike, how did the low tide session go?"
Well, just trying off the top of my head to recall, I found:
ochre star
Troshel's star
bat star
gumboot chiton
woody chiton
mossy chiton
stenoplax
various species of hermit crabs
kelp crab
purple urchin
red abalone
green abalone
cabazone
boring sponge
various unidentified jellies
giant green anemone
proliferating anemone
aggregating anemone
acanthadoris
ring spotted doris
Unfortunately, there was fog, cutting the light, and reflecting glare off the water, and there was wind, rippling the water. Also, the water was turbid, today. So the conditions were almost unworkable.
The pugnacious aeolid, painted urticinas, and red octopus were not there, today. We need a good storm to bring in lots of that sort of cool stuff.
So, I had a nice time, but the only photos I took were the boring sponge and the stenoplax.
