Sweet. An excellent setup. If I'm packing light, I think something like that OHT and a medium fixed blade (BATAC) would be perfect. Some para cord and a fire steel - a canteen - ready to rock!

i ditched paracord for sisal twine. it's strong, cheap, biodegradable, and makes a good tinder bundle. you can also carry a lot more length.

I've always like the 550 because you can use it for load bearing, but you can also pull the guts out when you need a lot of length or just use the shell for dummy cords... Twine is a good idea though.

I have a [censored] mouse in my utility room...the little booger runs out and grabs my dogs food and runs back. I am gonna KILL IT!!!!!
Though I haven't seen it.....I hear it laughing at me as my back is to the door.....this is my theory.
