Get this. I'm trying to find an '03 Victorinox Soldier to keep for my son who was born in '03. I found a used one with a "stock photo" on Ebay - and asked the guy to see an actual picture of it and explained to him why I was looking for an '03 - I said I wanted a new one, but since they're hard to find, I'd be happy with one that is in near new condition.

He said this: PLEASE DO NOT BID. When I hear that someone is giving a used knife to a loved one I block their bid, block their username or abort the sale if it has already been made. Don't be a cheapskate with those you love. If you really love this person, get them something new.

I responded with this: Hey guy - I don't know where you get off calling me a cheapskate - that is total BS. I'm trying to find a 2003 Soldier to keep for my son, who is 4 years old, because I wanted one from his birth year for when he is older. I'm sure that I told you that I was looking for a new one, but would also consider one that is in very good condition and asked to see a REAL picture of the knife (it appears that your stock photo is of a Wenger with the bail removed, anyways) since I have had no luck finding an '03. You definitely don't have to be a dick about it. I don't have any idea how you can be so arrogant towards potential "customers." No wonder you're running an internet business and not a store where you have to deal with people, as your people skills are obviously terrible.
